20 years (and counting) of property, surveying and banking experience, but now the UK's No.2 Lettings Business Generation Specialist, helping letting agents get more landlords for their lettings agency. I write a blog on how I can make landlords come to your agency, (on the Home Page).
So, my background is as follows, after completing my Surveying degree, started with the Halifax in their Estate Agency arm in 1993. In 2004, changed tracks within the Halifax to become a Bank Manager; getting our office into the top 10 best performing Halifax offices in the UK (out of around 320 offices).
In May 2011, I joined Belvoir Lettings and worked at their Head Office of Belvoir Lettings, one of the UK's largest lettings agents, as Head of Franchise Recruitment. I sold 26 franchises in just over 2 years, loved it but in December 2013, I left Belvoir to pursue my passion and start my own business helping letting agents get more landlords for their agency's. I put down my thoughts in a blog on 'how to grow a lettings agency'.(link in the right hand column wher eit says Blogger).It is updated every 24/48 hours or so and shows you some of my thoughts and methods which helped grow other peoples lettings' businesses by at least 20% to 30% per year (.. although often much more!).
Finally, what things are important to me? Firstly my lovely Wife, then my dog, next my family and friends and finally collecting whisky. Oh, before I forget, totally unbiased but I cook the best roast potatoes you will have in your life. .. Maris Piper or King Edwards, cut long ways, boiled in chicken stock, then fluffed up, then hot pan with 50% goose fat / 50% rapeseed oil and cook until golden and crunchy..they are something to behold .. IMHO!
PS If you are wondering who is No.1 is in the UK for Lettings Business Generation, there isn't one, Its just I always like to have something to strive for!
